Barbara Ann Thien-Miller

Barbara Ann Thien-Miller, age 67 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2018. Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 9, 1951 to the late Ruth and Ralph Roetzer. She graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1969 and went on to attend University of Dayton. She earned her degree in dietetics.

Barbara worked for many years as a dietician for Combined Health District of Montgomery County specializing in Prenatal Health and WIC. She enjoyed reading in her free time and was a passionate environmentalist. Barbara loved to spend time at the ocean with her loved ones. She was a loving, compassionate, and caring mother and dear friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, loving daughter, Becky Thien and many other cousins, relatives, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Barbara's life, will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 3pm at Newcomer - North Chapel. Visitation will take place for one hour prior (2pm-3pm).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to The Nature Conservatory, Sierra Club, or Hospice of Dayton.
