Barbara S. Stafford, age 78, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2017.
She was born on January 20, 1939 in Nicholasville, KY to the late Russell & Nellie Coyle.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Walter B. Stafford; son, W. Dean Stafford and sister, Betty Geisler.
She is survived by her daughters, Barb (Charles) Welles and Terri Murry; daughter-in-law, Lori Hayner; grandchildren, Charles Jr., Alicia, Janice, Amanda, Crystal and Jonathon; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Joetta Sutherland; brother, Wayne (Melsina) Coyle; companion, John Gordon; and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for their loving care.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be on Monday at 11am at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
