Barbara Snyder, age 72 of Dayton, passed away October 9, 2015. She was born November 1, 1942 in Dayton to William and Victoria Snyder.
Barb was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Haines Snyder; and aunt, Elizabeth Haines Cornelius.
Barb is survived by her son, Dennis (Holly Smith) Snyder; granddaughter, Karsyn Snyder; brother, Patrick (Sondra) Marks; honorary son, Roy Blanton, Jr.; and cousins: Scott Marks, Debbie Marks Raymond, Cheryl Marks Thomas, Kimberly Marks Buckley, Alice Bailey, Robert and Sandra Haines, Jack and Roberta Fisher, Paulette Rhodes & David and Rebecca Haines Garltic.
Barb enjoyed working at the Boonshoft Gift Shop for the past 12 years. She worked at Georgette's Hair Fashions for 37 years and Vales Beauty Salon for 8 years. Barb enjoyed reading and watching the Harry Potter saga movies and books. Her favorite quote was "How much are you willing to give up for a piece of mind?"
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 - 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
