Barbara "Lee" Ricketts, age 73 of Beavercreek, OH passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Kettering Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Louisville, KY on December 7, 1944, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Ricketts from Brookville, OH.
She is survived by her spouse of 37 years Shirley Miller, son Jeffrey Miller, and brothers James, Joseph, and John Ricketts as well as her extended family of Robert and Debra Miller, Cheryl Smith and Mark Radivoj, Dennis Miller and Karla Robertson; and grandchildren Shannon, Dale, Jordan, and Logan Miller, Virginia Smith, Melissa Harter, and Zachary Wesselmann.
She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2002 and was an active member of the Beavercreek Senior Center where she volunteered as a transportation driver. She loved softball, motorcycling, and her devoted dog Abby Girl.
Lee wished to further medical research of bone diseases and donated her remains to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
