Barbara Jo Pund (Ploplis)

Barbara Jo Pund (Ploplis), 62, of Beavercreek, passed away June 4, 2017. Barbara was born in Red Bank, NJ on April 1, 1955 to Joseph and Jean Ploplis. She worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for over 30 years at St. Elizabeth and Miami Valley Hospital. In her free time she enjoyed walking, hiking, the outdoors and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Charles Pund; mother, Jean L. Ploplis; father, Joseph V Ploplis, Sr.; daughters, Jennifer Kelly, Kimberly Kelly; granddaughter, Mia; brothers, Joseph (Laura) Ploplis, Jr., Anthony (Elvia) Ploplis; sisters, Jeannine Marcum, Joanilla (Greg) Stemley, Victoria (Kelly) Kennedy; stepchildren, Kristina (Jimmy) Walsh, Brian (Jessie) Pund, Jason Pund and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where prayer services will be held Thursday at 10am followed by a procession to Calvary Cemetery.
