Barbara Lawana Portis, 66, of Dayton, OH passed Saturday November 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, DeWitt and Margie Bennett; son, William A. Portis Sr.; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Ballinger. She is survived by her sisters, Diana Burrows and Ramona Bennett; brother, William Boyd; 3 grandchildren, William A. Portis Jr., Devin Portis, and Tiffany Portis; 3 great grandchildren, Tyesha, Kionna, and Byron Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation is Saturday November 12, 2011 from 2pm to 3pm with funeral service starting at 3pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Jivano Glenn is officiating.
