Barbara Parsons

Barbara J. Parsons, age 78 of Dayton, passed away December 22, 2013. She was born June 19, 1935 in Jonesville, VA to the late Claude and Margaret Barrett. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Parsons; and sister, Rita Ann Boyd.

Barbara is survived by her children: Cheryl Miller, Roger (Mary) Miller and Connie (David) Morrison; 6 grandchildren: Stephanie (Joel) Sanchez, Roger (Kimberly) Miller II, Autumn Kenney, Nicholas Miller, Jason Young and Stacy Hall; 7 great grandchildren; brothers: James R. (Gwyneth) Barrett and Charles "Don" (Mary Ann) Barrett; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a member of the Open Bible Christian Church. She was an office manager for many years with Adrian and Titus Construction Companies.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Open Bible Christian Church, 4715 Burkhardt Avenue, Dayton, OH 45403, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon. A dinner for family and friends will be served immediately following the service at the church. A private burial will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
