Barbara G. Middlesworth, age 90 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 22, 1933 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Linnie Glover.
Barbara retired from DESC as a management analyst and was a professional dog trainer and owner of Golden Halo Enterprises. Kettering residents will remember Barbara for "Bubba the porch dog." She was also a member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of Greater Dayton and a charter member of the Afghan Hound Club of Southwestern Ohio. Additionally, she was a member of the Kettering Senior Show Choir, the Gem City Sweet Adelines, and a member of St. Alberts church choir.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Mercer and her husband, Greg; grandson, Joe Bramlage and his wife, Sarah; and great grandson, Bodhi.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 12 pm at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish (3033 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429). The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the time of service.
