Barbara Ann Lybrook, age 88 of Dayton went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She was born in Dayton to the late Charles and Myrna Taylor on February 13, 1931. Barbara graduated from Stivers High School 1949. She was a skilled pianist and writer.
Barbara was an executive secretary for Mike Sell's Potato Chips and for Cassano's Pizza. She retired from Citizen's Federal as the deposit box coordinator in downtown Dayton.
Barbara enjoyed gardening in her free time. She was a kind, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Lybrook; brother, Charles E. Taylor; and sister-in-law, Sharon Taylor.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Ronald Lybrook and wife, Langia, and Wayne Yowell and wife, Alicia; brother, Dale Taylor and wife, Joyce; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the Alzheimer's Association. To honor Barbara's memory, her family asks that you consider participating in a local Alzheimer's Awareness Walk to help bring awareness and find treatments for the disease.
