Barbara Logkawitt

Barbara Jean Wallace, Logkawitt, 51 passed away Saturday September ,10 2005. Following a year long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of four years, Sammy. She had two daughters: Renee and Kenny Reeves, and Amanda and Nathan Egnor. Four grandchildren Justin, Jordan, Alison Reeves and Jacob Egnor. Parents are Geneva Short and Herman and Mamie Roseberry. Six brothers and sisters include: Mitch Roseberry, Bobby Short, Deb Dooley, Rosetta Rose, Hope Hendrix, and Faith Hall. Preceded in death by: Her stepfather Allen C. Short, loved as a father in the family. Her spiritual mothers, who she thought the world of, include: Tellie Reece, Corra Collins, and Maude Horne. Barbara was a wonderful asset to many families and churches alike. She touched many lives through her ministry and generosity, leaving behind memories that we will cherish forever. The Battle was long for everyone involved. We truly appreciate all the prayers and offerings that many contributed throughout the months. We are all losing a great Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Nana but she has gained much more. We'll miss her everyday, and we will never forget our Dear Barb. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
