Barbara L. Vernon

Vernon, Barbara L., age 52, of Moraine, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010. She was the number one mother of nine children. She was strong, loving, beautiful and independent. The kind hearted mom that listened, understood, provided, nurtured and was always there. We will feel the loss of her every day and we are grateful for every day we had with you.

Barbara was the mother of Tina, Missy, Maggie, Jenny, Faris, Shirley, Sherri, Deana and Benny, daughter of Benny & Mary Hiler, sister of Lee, Benny, Terri and Richard, the grandmother of eight and growing.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Sam White officiating. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
