Barbara L. Shepard-Moore, age 84 of Troy and formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She was born September 1, 1930 in Dayton to the late Lloyd and Katherine Newbauer. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Nollie "Bob" Moore; son, Dale Shepard; siblings, Margaret Wagner, Kenny Newbauer, Merle Newbauer, Bob Newbauer and Lois Kemper.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Autumn) Shepard; grandchildren, James (Leah) McDaniel, Scott Shepard, Stephanie (Ethan) Spahr, Wesley (Jackie) Shepard, Destiny Temple, Lyndsey (Brian) Crescenzi, Taylor Shepard; daughter-in-law, Dahlia Shepard; close friend and caregiver, Mary Girardot; numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
