Barbara June Musselman

Barbara J. Musselman, age 91 of Englewood, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 11, 2024. She was born December 14, 1932 in Winchester, Kentucky daughter of the late Burns and Golden Young.

Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married the love of her life, Harold in 1954. She loved to read, sew, watch her tv shows, being a homemaker/house wife to her family and spending time with the ones she loved. She had a special place in her heart for babies and animals. Over the years she enjoyed several different types of employment, starting from Good Samaritan Hospital, Avon, Meijers, and Blockbusters allowing her to meet new people and form relationships along the way. She had a heart of gold, willing to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harold Musselman; granddaughter, Leah Nicole Musselman; grandson, Conor Musselman; and brother, David Young.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Scott Musselman and Mark Musselman; grandchildren, Jason (Audrey) and Adam (Allison); great-grandchildren, Ethan, Madison (Brice), Samuel, and Isaiah; great great granddaughter, Mylah June; sister -in-law, Mary Young; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A Memorial Service will begin at 7pm also at the Funeral Home. 

Memorial contributions can be made in Barbara's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital and/or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
