Age 82, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Horace & Isadora (Carter) McColgan; two sisters, Jeanette Kendall & Marian Carrol; and by one son-in-law, Dean Gwin.
Barbara is survived by her husband of the past 61 years, Warren R. Kearney, Sr.; five children, Warren Jr., (Becky) Kearney, Linda (John Jackson) Compton, Philip (Diane) Kearney, Lisa (Wayman West) Flores & Lois Gwin; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; one brother, James (Gail) McColgan; and by her extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
