Barbara J. Latta, age 46 of Huber Heights, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 7, 1967 in Dayton to her parents, Jerry and Betty Hensley.
Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Jeremy Hensley.
She is survived by her best fur friend, Shaggy; daughter, Connie (Josh) Ames; son, Thomas Latta; grandchildren, Courtney, Reagan and Preston; sister, Brenda Hensley; aunt and uncle, Linda and Jerry Hollars; loving boyfriend, Bryan Nesbitt; niece, Brooke Smith and numerous extended family and friends.
A gathering to Celebrate Barbara's Life will be held from 7:30-9:00 PM Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Cedar Springs Pavilion, 7951 S. County Rd 25A, Tipp City, OH 45371, with a Butterfly Release at 9:15 PM Sunday.
At Barbara's request, the family asks that attendees wear bright, cheerful colors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Noble Circle or Cancer Hope at Southbrook.
