Barbara J. Gillman, 67, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away in her sleep after succumbing to her battle with cancer on August 8th 2014.

Barbara was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, September 9th, 1946 and she graduated from Bassick High School. Barbara was married to Armel Gillman, March 12th 1966

Barbara retired from Kroger's with 35 years of service. She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with family and friends. Barbara loved the benefit comedy and laughter provided for everyday life. Laughter was very important. She brought a smile to everyone she touched.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Winifred Noonan, and brother Bob Noonan. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Armel Gillman; her 4 children Todd and wife Julie of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Patrick and wife Julie of Beavercreek, Ohio, Joseph and wife Trecie of Sanford, Florida, and Matthew and wife Shannon of Fairborn, Ohio; her 10 grandchildren; Aaron, Chantel, Austin, Stephanie, Colton, Sarah, Zachary, Abigail, Allison, Savannah; her sister June and brother Bill.

A celebration of her life will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, August 15,2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory- North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
