Barbara Helfinstine

HELFINSTINE, Barbara L., 77, of Dayton passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband William J. Helfinstine; daughter Alma Tincher; and grandson Brian Lantis. Barbara is survived by her daughters Mary (Leo) Winhoven, Betty (Ron) Stakich, Brenda (Steve) Vogel, and Rosie (Dana) Watson; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; special friends Cherry Wiford and James Rainwater; numerous other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Barbara was a member of the VFW # 9494 and Lady Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Pastor H.C. O'Bryant officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Monday, December 18, 2006 at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Dayton National Cemetery.
