Barbara Diane Grilliot, age 63 of Dayton, was received home Sunday, December 3, 2023. She was born March 3, 1960 in Troy, Ohio to the late Joseph and Harriet Ishmael. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved son Dustin Grilliot.
Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Leah (Kelly) Preston and Ashe Chivers; six grandchildren, Molli, Logan, Niko, Natasha, Desiree, and Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Messiah and Melani. She is also survived by other family and friends who love her deeply.
Barbara was devoted to her family and most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family hopes those who would like to honor Barbara will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial at this time.
