Barbara Jean Fisher

Barbara Jean "Barb" Fisher, age 63, of Dayton, passed away on January 1, 2023. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 13, 1959, the daughter of the late Jerome H. Daley, Phyllis J. (Sheehan) Fisher and Robert B. Fisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her dear son, Christopher A. Fisher; and granddaughters, Savannah C. Fisher and Ashlyn Fisher.

Barb is survived by her beloved husband, Richard C. Fisher; loving children, Katherine J. Oldham, Robert J. (Jackie) Fisher and Richard D. (Susan) Fisher; grandchildren, Jonathon C. (Karime) Oldham, Stephanie J. (Richie) Martindale, Samantha L. Fisher, Lance Fisher, Liam Fisher, Noah Fisher, Jaxson Fisher, Rosemary M. Fisher, Alexandria J. Fisher and Kristopher D.A. Fisher; great granddaughters, Karaleigh J. Martindale and Ryleigh J. Martindale; cousin, Steven Steinke; and many other loving family members and friends.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading (especially her favorite, Stephen King), playing video games, watching The Walking Dead and spending time with her grandbabies. Barb was truly devoted to her family. She was a special soul who always saw the best in everyone and would open her door to anyone. Although she fought a long battle with her health, she was determined to be there for her loved for as long as possible. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm, on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 3:00pm.
