Barbara F. Thomas

Thomas, Barbara Francis, age 69, of West Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years: Elvin G. Thomas; daughter: Saundra Thomas of West Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law: Jack E. (Lisa) Thomas of Dayton; grandchildren: Amecia (Thomas) Carpenter of Dayton, Ronald F. Thomas of Dayton, Bridget L. Thomas of Dayton, Jacayln G. Thomas of Dayton; sisters: Margaret (Bryant) Fields formerly of Miamisburg, Katy Hamilton of Maryville, TN; brother: Arthur (Ada) King of Miamisburg; and a host of wonderful friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents: Luthur E. & Ossie L. King; sisters: Carolyn Basham, Nell M. King, Vivian M. King; and brother: L.C. King.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home. Contributions, if desired may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
