Barbara E. Oliver, age 97, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Barbara was born on May 28, 1919 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Foster & Goldie Albright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James R. Oliver and 5 siblings.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Ruth (Clyde) Slaton and Pat (Stephen) Shisler; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and 2 sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at Walnut Creek Nursing Center for their loving care of Barbara.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 9-10am at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432). The funeral service will follow at 10am. Barbara will be laid to rest with her husband at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
