Barbara M. Diviak

Barbara M Diviak, age 91 of Beavercreek, OH , passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Heartland of Beavercreek. She was born January 21, 1927 in Garrett, Kentucky the daughter of Bradley and Elizabeth Francis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Steven V. Diviak and numerous siblings.

Barbara was an ordained minister with the Church of God. She loved her family an loved swimming. During WWII she worked at Inland Mfg making M1 carbines.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Gregory K. (Tungret Ninsaeng) Diviak, Steven (Katherine) Diviak and Thomas (Patricia) Diviak; daughter, Patricia Diviak; sisters, Paro Lee Stambaugh, Jessie Lee (Bill) Palfrey and Glenna Hall; 19 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at January 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be January 2, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. In lie of flowers the family request donations be made in Barbara's name to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Pike Dayton, OH.
