Barbara Jean Davis

Barbara Jean Davis, age 70, of Dayton, passed away on March 21, 2023. She was born on August 17, 1952 to the late Carl and Margaret Davis.
She was strong-willed and loving. Her mind was a steel trap, and she forgot nothing. Barbara was very honest and truthful, and she would tell you how it was. She met a lot of wonderful people and made many friendships in her life. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, James Davis; her sister, Carole Horton; her aunt Vera and her grandma Bussey.
She will be remembered by her sister, Diana (Nelson) DeMoss; her sister-in-law, Sandra Davis; brother-in-law, Jerry Horton; nephews: Brian (Susie) DeMoss, Nelson L. (Missi) DeMoss and James Horton; grandnieces and grandnephews: Shelby, Kylee, and Jake; her close friend, Debbie; and many great grandnieces, great grandnephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Following the service Barbara will be laid to rest with her parents at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
