Barbara C. Cummings

On January 16th 2017 Beloved Wife Mother Grandmother Sister, Barbara C. Cummings suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in her home. She was loved dearly by so many and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her Husband Mark Cummings of 20 years, Mother in law Bonnie Cummings, Sister Mary Jo Clutter, Brother Michael Clutter, Sons Jerry Hawthorne, Brian Hawthorne, and Nicholas Emrick. Step children Marcie Shoup, Mark Cummings, Angela Ray and Tony Cummings. Her beloved grandkids Kodey Hawthorne, Korey Hawthorne, Kaleb Hawthorne, Kane Hawthorne, Meganne Person, Allison Hawthorne, Daughter in law Anna Hawthorne, Brother in law Larry Powell. Her furry babies, Copper, Kirby, Kingsley, Bailey and Kassie. She also had so many cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed by all. As most of you know she has been fighting multiple illnesses over the last few years she fought every day and she was the toughest woman I've ever met. The only comfort we all feel is that we know she's not suffering anymore and she's with her family in heaven watching over us all right now. God bless you Mother you will be missed so much we all love you. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 3-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where services will begin at 5pm with Sergio Silva officiating.
