Barbara Lynn Cumbow

Barbara Lynn Cumbow, age 76, of Beavercreek, OH passed away October 27, 2024. Barbara was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on March 30, 1948. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Harley V. Fields and Stella F. Millott; her husband, Franklin W. Cumbow; and her nephew James G. Cowley.

Barbara is survived by her son, Brian E. Cumbow, daughter-in-law Tara L. Cumbow, grandson Bryce E. Cumbow, granddaughter Baylee L. Cumbow, sisters Patricia Fields and Sharron Cowley, nephew Bruce W. Cowley, and numerous great nieces and nephew.

Barbara was a homemaker whose joy in life was taking care of her family. Barbara was an avid donor to many causes such as Wounded Warrior, St. Jude’s, Humane society, and others in line with her giving nature. Barbara enjoyed bowling with her long time friends at Beaver Vu Bowl through the years. She enjoyed watching her favorite teams Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals, but nothing trumped the Ohio State versus Michigan Football game as that was the day that marked the annual celebration of the birth of her son (her admitted pride and joy).
