Barbara J Craig

Craig, Barbara J., age 83 of Xenia passed away peacefully on December 29, 2016. She was born in 1933 in Osborne, OH to the late Imogene (Mussetter) and Harley Kiser. Barbara married Victor Craig on February 9, 1952 in Richmond, IN. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards in her free time. Barbara was an excellent cook and took great pride in her canning abilities. She was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Victor L. Craig; and brothers, Eldon Kiser and Dale Hayslip.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Leann Craig and Dawn Craig; grandchildren, Ryan (Casey), Justin, and Brandon Craig, and Dylan Harless; great-granddaughter, Shyann Craig; brother, Russell Kiser of Xenia; sister, Sarah (Robert) Dawson of Centerville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date. Barbara will be interred at Spring Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newcomer Funeral Home to assist the family with final arrangements.
