Age 71 went on to be with the Lord June 19th , 2006 She was proceeded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother and Husband Merlin Combs. She is survived by 5 daughters, Linda Pitts of Altoona Florida, Brenda Sering and husband Steve of Deltona Fla, Karen Powell of Lewisburg OH, Carla Howard of Dayton OH, Kim Berry of New Lebanon OH, and 1 son Bill Abbott and wife Paula of New Lebanon OH, and 2 step sons Tony & Tim Combs and 1 step Daughter Debbie Shelton, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Clearance Garrett of Tipp City OH, Otis Garrett of Beavercreek OH, Robert Garrett of Dayton OH, 2 sisters Irene Justice of The Villages FLA, Kathleen Hofele of Xenia OH. Barbara was called into the ministry in 1997 and was used of the Lord in many great Miracles and Healings. Barbara founded The Touch Of The Masters Hand Ministry; Sang with the Eternal Praise and The Combs Family Ministry; Co- Hosted Last Day Message Church; Birthed the Faith Tabernacle Church. She will be loved and missed by many. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Rejoicing Life Church of God (formerly Miamisburg Church of God), 54 S. Gebhart-Church Road, Miamisburg, OH. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 at the church. Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
