Barbara Joan Buell, a retired professional from National City PNC Bank, passed away on May 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love. Born on May 17, 1942, in Dayton Ohio to Millard B. Myers and Gusta D. Myers, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Barbara was known for her warm and compassionate personality, touching the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She dedicated her career to the banking industry but found true joy in her hobbies and interests. Barbara adored her dogs and cats, finding comfort and companionship in their loyal presence. A talented singer with a deep passion for music, she filled the lives of those around her with melodies and love.
In her journey through life, Barbara was supported by her family every step of the way. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Feree. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Tom Buell, devoted daughter Tammy (Poteet) Huchison, and cherished grandchildren Lyndsey, Megan, and Jared. Despite the loss they now face, they will always carry the light of Barbara's love in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Society of Greater Dayton in Barbara's memory.
