Barbara Ellen Beaty

Barbara Ellen Beaty, age 90, of Riverside, Ohio- Winlock Avenue, passed away on April 20, 2023. She was born on March 1, 1933 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Alfred and Ellen Kaupa. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Ray Beaty; her sons: Daniel VanderBerg and Douglas VanderBerg; daughter, Eileen Millar; her brother, Louis Kaupa; sisters: Rosemary Mankel and Kathleen Maslowski.

Barbara is survived by her children: David Millar (Kathy) and Laurie Isaacs (Joshua); grandchildren: Annabelle, Daniel, Duncan, Sydney, Joshua, Roger, Hannah, Rusty, and Randy; great grandchildren: Elenora, Noelle, and Alanna; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Barbara graduated as a Registered Nurse from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 53 years old. She was an active participant with her husband, Ray, in the local Laborers Union in Dayton, Ohio, as well as a teacher of water aerobics, and yoga classes (well into her 70's), at the women's Health Spa in Huber Heights, Ohio. Barbara loved reading, garage sales, and making quilts for her family with her quilting group.

Private family services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
