Barbara Jeanette Beach "Barbie"

Barbara Jeanette Beach of Centerville, Ohio passed away April 17, 2023 at Hospice in Middletown, Ohio at the age of 76. She was born on March 5, 1947 in Kettering, Ohio to the late James R. Newman and Grace O. Newman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William J. Beach and her sister Judith L. Newman.

Barbara was survived by her daughter, Melissa D. Beach; sister, Joyce Elaine Newman; niece, Jenni Lynn Washington; nephew, James Cameron Newman and his fiancé Cheyenne Brown. She is also survived by numerous friends over the years.

Barbara was devoted to her faith and knew and loved the Lord deeply. She graduated from Fairmont East High School in 1965. Barbara was a police and fire dispatcher for Wayne Township (now Huber Heights) for many years in the 70's and also worked at Rex TV and appliances accounts offices. She was a very funny, loving, caring Christian woman. She loved animals of all kinds. Barbara was the matriarch of the family for quite a few years. She organized birthdays, all holidays and sometimes just because little get togethers. She will deeply be missed by her daughter and the rest of the family as well as all who knew her.

Barbara's daughter has asked in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to your local ASPCA and or American Heart Association in her mother's memory.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 and then the Memorial Service will start at 4pm. This will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering chapel (3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, Ohio 45439).
