Barbara A. Hammond
April 2, 1947 — March 7, 2021
Barbara "Barb" A. Hammond, age 73 of Fairborn, Ohio passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2021. She was born April 2, 1947 in Chillicothe, Ohio daughter of the late Robert and Betty Jenkins.
Barb was a devoted loving wife, grandmother, sister, sister - in- law, aunt, and friend. Barb was a proud veteran who served in the United States Air Force where she met her husband Ray. She was a member of the West Enon Church of God for over 15 years. Barb enjoyed crafting and babysitting. She is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Jenkins.
Barb is survived by her husband of 44 years, Lonnie "Ray" Hammond; adopted family, Erica McNeal, Nicole and Gabrielle Murphy and their parents Ron and Tammy Murphy; brother's, Thomas (Crystal) Jenkins and Terry Jenkins; sister, Linda Kerns; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Barb will be laid to rest at a later date at the Dayton National Cemetery.
