Barbara Ann Ventura, age 53, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Barbie was born May 19, 1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Howlett and grandparents, Harold & Vada Hastings.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jesse Ventura; children, Jessicanne Hastings and Andrew Ventura; grandchildren, Jasmine Vada Hastings, Jesse Harrison Hastings and Angell Valentino Hastings; mother, Elizabeth Chittum; brother, Steve (Kathy) Chittum; sister, Valerie Long; and many other relatives and friends.
Barbie loved animals, music-especially Elvis, books, movies, and spending time with her family. She was very intelligent.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 10-11am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439.
The service will follow at 11:000 am. Barbara will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
