Barbara Ann Putterbaugh

Barbara Putterbaugh, age 66, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 12, 2013.
She was born on April 21, 1946 in Dayton to the late Marcellus & Dolores Putterbaugh.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Putterbaugh. Barbara is survived by her sister, Valerie (Rod) Roswell; brother, Charles Putterbaugh; nieces and nephews, Matt, Sarah, Rod (Laura), and Shannon Roswell, Robert and Nikki Hull; cousins, Janet Stahl and Carol Newkirk, Bob Frantz, Alvin and Kathy Putterbaugh; and many other relatives and friends.
Barbara was the first female police officer with the City of West Carrollton where she served 25 years. She was a part of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3438.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 1-3 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A memorial service will follow at 3 pm.
Donations may be made in Barbara's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
