Barbara A. Miller

Barbara A. Miller, 79, of New Carlisle passed away peacefully on May 27th. Barbara was born August 15, 1936 in Springfield, OH. She was raised in West Milton and graduated from Milton-Union High School in 1954. She was employed by the Clark County Home of the Aged, and retired in 1984. Barbara was a member of the Huber Mennonite Church, and was a former EMT-Paramedic/Firefighter with the Bethel Township Clark County Fire Department.

Barbara is survived by daughters Vicki (Steve) Durall, Lori (Donnie) Hayner, and Amy (Mike) Lamb; grandchildren Jason (Dixie) Brookins, Jonathon (Sunshine) Durall, Amanda (Mike) Dunphy, Joseph Midkiff, Crystal Stafford, Jon Stafford, Macy Lamb, Sydney Lamb, Savanna Lamb, and Caden Lamb; great grandchildren Brittany Brookins, Christian Brookins, Austin Dunphy, Katelyn Dunphy, and Olivia Rice; sister-in-law Sharon (Terry) Miller, brother-in-law Norman (Connie) Loughman, nephews Rick (Annette) Loughman, Monte Miller, Todd Miller, and a niece Sherri (Mark) Hatfield.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel (Sam) Miller, her parents Esther and Harmon Miller, daughter Cindy Miller, sister Delores Loughman, in-laws Virgil and Katherine Miller, granddaughter Vanessa Midkiff-Lamb, son-in-law Dean Stafford, and a nephew Brian Loughman.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where funeral services will follow on Saturday at Huber Mennonite Church, 1885 S Dayton-Lakeview Rd, New Carlisle, OH 45344 at 10:30am. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in West Milton.
