Baltazar Gutierrez Perez, age 43 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2021. He was born on August 29, 1978 in En Los Arrayanes, Del Devanador, Michoacan, MX to the late Salvador Gutierrez and Antonia Perez. In addition to his parents, Baltazar was preceded in death by his twin brother Angel Gutierrez; sister Mariana Gutierrez; sister Goya Gutiérrez; and his son Eric Y. Gutierrez Sandoval.
Baltazar is survived by 8 of his older siblings; daughter Rocio Gutierrez Sandoval; son Gilberto Gutierrez Sandoval; partner Maria Jacobo; partner's daughters Jennifer and Daisy Jacobo and extended family and dear friends.
As a young boy in Mexico, he would go out and help his family on the ranch. He would work everyday just to help bring food for himself and his family in Mexico. Later in the year 1998, he would come to Dayton, OH where he would live the rest of his life.
He was the most hardworking man. Everything he did, he did for his 3 children. He would work everyday just so his kids would have a better life here in America. He loved cooking and fishing. Every summer he would go out fishing whether it be with his kids or with his friends but he loved fishing. It was his favorite hobby.
In November of 2019, Baltazar's older son passed away due to health issues. It was heartbreaking to him but he continued to move forward for his 2 other children. He showed them how strong he was. Later in 2020, Baltazar would find his partner whom he would spend the rest of his life with. He was the happiest man in the world when he met his partner, Maria and her 2 daughters Jennifer and Daisy. Baltazar was able to give his remaining 2 children a family. A complete family was Baltazar's biggest dream that he had. He received that the moment he met Maria.
Baltazar will be remembered as a hardworking, loving, and caring person by his entire family and friends.
Family will receive guests from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering. Following the viewing, family and friends will be escorted to Dayton Memorial Park where Baltazar will be interred.

Nació el 29 de agosto de 1978 en En Los Arrayanes, Del Devanador, Michoacán, MX a los fallecidos Salvador Gutiérrez y Antonia Pérez. Cuando era niño en México, salía y ayudaba a su familia en el rancho. Trabajaba todos los días solo para ayudar a traer comida para él y su familia en México. Posteriormente en el año 1998, vendría a Dayton, OH donde viviría el resto de su vida.
Era el hombre más trabajador. Todo lo que hizo, lo hizo por sus 3 hijos. Trabajaría todos los días para que sus hijos tuvieran una vida mejor aquí en Estados Unidos. Le encantaba cocinar y pescar. Todos los veranos salía a pescar, ya fuera con sus hijos o con sus amigos, pero le encantaba pescar. Era su pasatiempo favorito.
En noviembre de 2019, el hijo mayor de Baltazar falleció por problemas de salud. Fue desgarrador para él, pero siguió adelante por sus otros 2 hijos. Les mostró lo fuerte que era. Posteriormente en el 2020, Baltazar encontraría a su pareja con quien pasaría el resto de su vida. Fue el hombre más feliz del mundo cuando conoció a su pareja, María y sus 2 hijas Jennifer y Daisy. Baltazar pudo darles una familia a sus 2 hijos restantes. Una familia completa era el sueño más grande que tenía Baltazar. Lo recibió en el momento en que conoció a María.
Baltazar será recordado como una persona trabajadora, amorosa y solidaria por toda su familia y amigos.
La familia recibirá invitados de 10:00 am a 12:00 pm el viernes 14 de diciembre de 2022 en Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering. Después del velorio, familiares y amigos serán escoltados al Dayton Memorial Park donde se enterrará a Baltazar.
