B. Keith Hammond

B. Keith Hammond, age 70, of Kettering passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his father, Denver L. Hammond.
Keith is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn R. Hammond; children, Jeff (Tina) Hammond, Kurt (Karen) Hammond and Alicia (Troy) Lauffer; grandchildren, Eric, Michael, Julia and Marisa Hammond, Sidney and Mason Lauffer; mother, Ruth Hammond; brother, Dennis (Sue) Hammond; nephews, Micah and Lucas Hammond; and many other relatives and friends.
Keith worked at NCR and retired from Delphi as President of the Local IUE 755. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and golfing-but most of all he enjoyed his grandkids and Ohio State Buckeyes.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 26, 2013 from 2-4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The memorial service will follow at 4 pm. Donations may be made in Keith's memory to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (P.O. Box 1848 Longmont, CO 80502).
