Avo Ella Dyer

Dyer, Avo E. age 94 of Dayton passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Oak Creek Terrace after an extended illness. She was a member of the Community Church of Kettering, OH. Cooking for others was a great source of enjoyment for Avo, having retired as a cook from the Gorman School. She also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Wade, her son Kenneth, great-great grandson Ezra Folino, 2 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by daughters: Betty Sue Williams, Frances C. Bayne, Hazel (Bernard) Baker; 11 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until Noon on Saturday, December 17 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral Services will begin at noon, Pastor Ed Doolin, officiating.
