Avis Simcox

SIMCOX, Avis I., age 82 of Beavercreek passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Kettering Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney; son, Victor; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by daughters: Carol Day of Huber Heights, Charlotte (Pete) Goodwin of Beavercreek, Venetia (Jeffery) Lacon of Waynesville. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren: Stacey (Michael) Reitz, Brandon, Kellie, John, Jessica, Jacob; three sisters: Macel Farmer, Treva Wilson, Patsy Weaver; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Avis was born and raised in Rinnie, TN, and was a faithful member of Brantwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, July 15th at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.). Visitation will be 12 Noon until time of services.
