Avanell M. Fitzgerald, age 78 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 27, 1938 in Riceville, KY to the late Dewey and Mae (Dotson) Hackworth.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William Fitzgerald; sons, David (Donna) Fitzgerald and Patrick (Dawn) Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Rachel and Sarah; great granddaughter, Adalynn; several siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Avanell's wishes were to have no services.
