Ava Anne Jones, age 32 of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2024. She was born November 14, 1992 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of Mark and Mary Jones.
Ava was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her son Knox was the light of her life. Ava was known for her vibrant personality and endless kindness. Born and raised in Dayton, Ava graduated from Carroll High School in 2011 and went on to Wright State University, where she earned a degree in Biology. Ava was a member of the Huber Heights Roosters team, loved by coworkers and customers. An animal lover with many dogs and cats, Ava spent time volunteering at local animal clinics.
Ava was known for her infectious enthusiasm and her natural ability to connect with people. Her friends and family describe her as someone who brought light and joy to every room she entered. You could always find Ava dancing, laughing and making funny faces. Ava loved spending time with her son Knox and partner Paul, she embraced the boy mom lifestyle playing with cars and getting dirty outside. Ava also enjoyed weekends at the lake with family and trips to the beach. Anywhere she could be near the water. Ava’s genuine interest in others, combined with her kindness and warmth, made her a valued friend. She had a special gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Her presence was a source of comfort and encouragement to many. Ava touched so many lives in her short time on earth. Once you met her, you couldn’t forget her.
She is survived by her son, Knox Brewer; partner, Paul Brewer; her parents, Mark and Mary Jones; brother, Michael (Megan) Jones; sister, Angela (John Patterson) Jones; niece, Luna Barrett; nephews, Fletcher Savoie, Archer Savoie, and Rowan Patterson; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 10am at Holy Trinity Church, 272 Brainbridge Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
