Age 4, died tragically Sunday, April 30, 2006 in Las Cruces, NM. The sweet-natured redhead was born August 4, 2001, in Dayton, Ohio to Jason and Cassandre Elmore. Austin charmed everyone he came in contact with, from his teachers and classmates at the Huber Heights First Baptist Preschool in Ohio to his new neighbors, friends, and classmates from Mission Lutheran Schools in Las Cruces.

Survivors include his parents, Jason and Cassandre, grandparents Travis and Sheila Elmore of Rockledge, Florida, Gail Allison of Huber Heights, OH and James and Alice Allison of Amelia, OH; great-grandparents Kenneth and Deloris Leistner of Bradford, OH, Betty Elmore of Hutto, TX, and Evelyn Nesselrotte of Irving, TX; aunts and uncles Nicole and Patrick Kelly of Huber Heights, Shawn Elmore of Houston, TX, Jeremy and Julia Elmore of Bryan, TX, Nathan Elmore of Rockledge, FL, Matt and Stephanie Elmore of Rockledge, FL, Aaron and Dawn Lacey of Dayton, OH, Jim and Clarissa Allison of Miamisburg, OH, Rob Allison of Enon, OH, and Suzzanne Lindsay of Fort Worth, TX; cousins Tyler, Braden, Levi, Paige, Kayla, and Isabella from the Dayton area, Kayden from Rockledge, and Stephani and Keira from Houston, and numerous other great-uncles and aunts.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday. In lieu of flowers may be made to "The Elmore Family" c/o 3120 N. Main St., Las Cruces, NM 88001.
