Austin Dean Alcorn, age 55, of Dayton went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Austin was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, hunting, gardening, golfing and bowling. Austin was very inquisitive about technology, nature and historical events.
Austin is survived by his son, Austin James Alcorn and his fiancé Brianna; daughter, Hollian Kay (Dustin) Combs; parents, Austin & Eleanor Alcorn; grandson, Blake James Alcorn; sister, Rhonda (Joe) Voskuhl; nephews, Nathaniel Dean (Carrie) Scott, Mathew Lewis Smith and Dustin Richard Smith; several great-nieces & nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive family & friends on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 12-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 1pm. Austin will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg.
Austin will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
