Ashley Wormsby

Ashley Maria Wormsby, age 30 of Dayton, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2015. She was born December 21, 1984 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Gertrude and Robert Hay and Hollis Wormsby.

Ashley is survived by her mother, Susan M. Hay; father, Sidney V. Wormsby; grandmother, Ora Wormsby; sister, Larissa Wormsby; brother, Malik Wormsby; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ashley was a huge OSU and Brantley Gilbert fan. Ashley was a beautiful person on the inside and out. She was always willing to lend a helping hand for those in need. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.

Please wear comfortable clothing as casual dress is requested by her family. Contributions may be made in Ashley's memory to the Dayton Food Bank or House of Bread.
