Arvil Wilson

January 19, 1933 — April 21, 2013

Wilson, Arvil Lee age 80 of Dayton, passed away Sunday on April 21, 2013. Arvil was born in Pioneer, TN on January 19, 1933.

He was retired from United States Army after serving over 20 years including serving our country proud in the Vietnam and Korean wars. He was then employed as a civilian for the United States Air Force for 21 years.

Along with his bravery, he was also known for his generosity, kind heart and sense of humor. He was a member of the VFW Post #657 where he liked to visit with his friends and talk Nascar.

Arvil is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Keiko; their daughter, Tari (David) Marlow of Englewood; his two beloved grandsons, Walter and Tyler Roberts; his brother Clifford Bowles and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, on Thursday, April 25th from 5:00-7:00 with the funeral to follow the next day at 11:30.

He will be laid to rest at the Dayton National Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at the VFW Post #657 located at 637 Spinning Road in Riverside after the funeral.
