WILLIAMS, Arthur D ("Dave") age 68 of Dayton, OH passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
He was born in Grayson, KY and moved to Dayton at an early age where he attended Belmont High School.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Arthur & Emma Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Williams; daughter, Robin L Williams of Beavercreek, OH; precious grandson, Luke; step-daughter, Donna O'Shea of Kettering, OH and her sons Jacob and Logan.
Dave proudly served in the U.S. Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. He retired from Hostess Cake after 28 years as a route driver.
For most of his life, Dave played guitar and was a lead singer in several local bands. He loved music, college football and basketball, western movies and spending time with his family, especially his grandson Luke.
Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31 at 11:30 a.m.
Interment immediately following at Dayton National Cemetery.
