Arthur Williams

Williams, Arthur, age 90, of Dayton, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009. He was born September 16, 1918 in Leon, KY, the son of Lorenzo D. and Emma (Keaton) Williams. Arthur was veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army and retired from General Motors. He was a member of VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek. He is survived by his son, Arthur D. (Christine) Williams of Dayton; granddaughter, Robin Lynn Williams, great-grandson, Lucas Alexander Williams, granddaughter, Donna Christine Johnson, great-grandson, Logan Michael Johnson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma Williams; both parents; three sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
