Arthur J. Taylor Jr., age 86, a lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on July 1, 2016.
Art is survived by his daughters, Peggy and Cheryl (Jim); grandchildren, David (Lisa), Tracy (Randy) and Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Isaac and Heidi. He retired from Reichard Buick (formerly Shannon Buick) in 2003 after 37 years as a new car salesman. Previous to that, Art was a fourth generation tile and marble setter with his own businesses, Tiles Contemporary and Tiles, Inc..
Art's passions were reading and learning about everything. His major interests were Dayton history and open wheel auto racing. A remarkable memory helped make him a unique and interesting man and lively conversationalist. Services will be private. Interment will take place at the Dayton VA National Cemetery.
