Arthur Smith

SMITH, Arthur A. age 79, of Dayton, OH passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at his home. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Sergeant, and was proud to be a Scottish Rite Mason, and member of the Fairborn American Legion. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis; and brother, William Smith. He is survived by his son, Greg (Mary) Smith of Columbus, OH; step-daughter, Kathy (Steve) Diviak of Dayton; step-sons, Greg and Bill (Carole) Jarrell; brothers, Sherman and Eugene Smith; sister, Lyda (Bill) Johnston; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 7 pm Friday, October 2, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the time of service.
