Arthur Sickels

SICKELS, Arthur C., age 76, of Centerville, OH passed away Fri., Feb. 17, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father Ray Sickels. Art is survived by his mother Mildred Sickels of New Marshville, OH; 2 brothers Marvin Sickels & wife Ruby of Georgetown, GA and Tony Sickels & wife Joyce of Springboro, OH; 2 sisters Joy Steinmeyer & husband Henry of Waynesville, OH and Christy Shy & husband Kit of Westcliffe, CO and long-time friend and co-worker Tom Miltner of Centerville. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #426 F&AM in New Marshville, a veteran of the U.S. Army with service during the Korean War, active in the New Marshville V.F.W., a wildlife biologist with the State of Ohio Division of Wildlife from 1952 - 1962 and from 1962 to the present Art was the founder and owner of Soundfold, Inc. in Centerville. Private inurnment and graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at New Marshville Cemetery. There will be no visitation hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to your local Disabled American Veterans Assn. in Art's memory. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel.
