Arthur Pierce

Arthur Pierce, age 83 of Centerville, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024. He was born December 2, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Delbert and Adeline Pierce. Arthur graduated from Miamisburg High School. He founded his own company, Art Pierce Painting, where he worked as a painting and maintenance contractor for over 50 years. He served the city Oakwood community and established a whole client family there. Arthur was an avid outdoorsman. He owned a houseboat for many years and he liked camping at Cowan Lake. Arthur liked to Golf. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed practical jokes. Arthur liked to travel and he went on several cruises with his wife, Lee. He loved his family and spending time with nieces and nephews. There were many family pool parties and cookouts. Arthur will be deeply missed. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and Brothers, Barney Pierce, Don Pierce, Jerry Pierce, and Brother, Mike Pierce.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wanda Lee Pierce; Son, Dayne (Anja) Pierce; Daughters, Danell King, and DeeDee Pierce; Sisters, Carol (Norman) Leist, Mary (late Chuck) Maley, Marcia (Ron) Barnhart, and Debbie (Tony) Rose; and by many nieces and nephews and friends.
